CircleIn

CircleIn is an educational platform designed to enhance student collaboration and academic success through a virtual community. The platform aims to improve retention and graduation rates by providing students with tools to study together, share knowledge, and support each other in their academic endeavors. CircleIn facilitates group study sessions, note-sharing, and problem-solving, helping students to overcome academic challenges collectively.

The company was founded by a former Fortune 500 leader who started the organization with $30,000 saved for a down payment on a house.  He is driven by a desire to address low college completion rates among minority and low-income students. CircleIn has awarded over $100,000 in scholarships and rewards to students who actively help their classmates on the platform.

Investors in CircleIn include the National Science Foundation (NSF).  It provided a grant to support its mission of improving student persistence and course completion rates.
