RENO ACCELERATOR FUND
The Reno Accelerator Fund supported early stage entrepreneurs, and the accelerators that encourage them, through convertible note investments. Its primary goal was to create high quality jobs.
Funded by federal funds from through a longstanding United States Department of Housing and Urban Development program, the Reno Accelerator Fund ran through the end of June 2015.
Newbean Capital managed the program on behalf of the City of Reno.
“THE ACCELERATOR FUND MIGHT BE THE SEXIEST THING THE CITY IS DOING TO BOOST STARTUPS"
Indoor Ag-Con hosts events about indoor agriculture; growing produce and raising fish in greenhouses, warehouses and containers using hydroponic, aquaponic and aeroponic technologies. Our events unite farmers, growers, chefs, technology geeks, suppliers, advocates and enthusiasts. In December 2018, Newbean Capital sold Indoor Ag-Con LLC to event industry professionals – Nancy Hallberg, Kris Sieradzki and Brian Sullivan – setting the stage for a significant global expansion of Indoor Ag-Con. Newbean Capital remains involved in the events, working with speakers and creating agendas.
